ABOUT THE OWNER

Bill Demeter, MST, CPA earned an Associates Degree in Business from Washtenaw Community College in 2017. From there he was accepted into the accelerated Tax Law Graduate Program at Eastern Michigan University. There he became an officer within the Beta Alpha Psi fraternal order of accountants program, and took on a 2nd part time job as a Graduate Assistant for the Accounting & Finance Department. In December 2019 he graduated ranked first in his class - earning a Bachelors in Arts with a focus on Accounting & a Masters in Science of Tax Law. He maintained full time employment all through college while earning a near perfect GPA (3.9 average). Mr. Demeter passed the CPA exams 18 months after graduating - scoring in the top 5% of test takers nation wide.

He started his career in January of 2020 at the University of Michigan Sponsored Programs office, working in government & grant accounting. He worked on multiple projects for NASA and the Gates Foundation. Then in November 2020 he transitioned into public practice as a full time staff accountant in the tax department at Clayton & Mckervey, PLLC (now Wipfli). He spent 3 years working his way up to the Senior Accountant level - working on partnerships & pass through entities, high net worth individuals, and Trust/Estates. He remained with the company until it closed in 2023.

He began his career in private practice in June 2023, taking on yet another specialization and new industry within his practice as the Assistant Controller/Senior Accountant of New Eagle, LLC. There he was able to help facilitate the shift from husband/wife start up to professionally run tax & accounting department. Here he began mastering both the Taxation management and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) sides of the accounting Profession. This unique skillset is what allows him to give unique insights consulting for a business - as understanding how both sides of the business work can lead to more efficient planning strategies.

In June 2025 he decided to take on yet another new industry in Statutory Accounting (STAT). As the Senior Tax Accountant The Doctors Company, one of the largest malpractice insurance companies in the world, he works on the complex concerns of this giant within the insurance industry.

It was also during this time that he started A2 Tax Solutions, PLLC (A2TS). It is thanks to his wide ranging and diverse experience across the accounting industry he is able to assist clients across all types of industry. His love for the Huron Valley area motivates him to help other small business owners to achieve their dreams and run a profitable & long living family business. Mr. Demeter also spends countless hours helping the under privileged plan for retirement and improve their overall financial wellness - assisting in back tax returns, setting up high yield savings accounts, and settling delinquent taxes. Helping others is his passion, and he hopes this service will having a lasting effect and motivate those he helps to change their lives & increase their overall financial position for generations to come.
